I, too, am having a good day.

Got up this morning at 8. 'Twas a decent 8am, if I ever did see one. I had coffee and scrambled eggs for breakfast. Actual breakfast, yes. Took the next hour forty-five lazily and then ran to the bus to wait a minute for it. The bus was fun as busses can be; there was a woman with a 16 month-old baby seated in front of me. I smiled and silently wished the woman happiness with her child until that day that she becomes a horrible little creature that all children become. There was so much free food in the breakroom. I spent the 20 minutes before my shift tasting various free cookies. The quality of my day at this point made my short break, the crazy angry woman in the line, and the peeling up of papers - which had been mysteriously gooed to the floor under a desk - seem moot and insignificant. I sauntered out of work at 3:30 and called home to see if I could get my car back today. I couldn't.So I walked. It's one hell of a walk, but it's one hell of a walk. Took me 'bout an hour and a half, but I kept my pace the whole way (except crosswalks, damn things). I had run out of water pretty quickly, but it didn't bother me much; it was pretty outside. It was hot, but I was able to amuse myself with my timing when I walked alongside a sprinkler and it kept pace with me, sprinkling my right side. By the way, it was the kind that goes ffffffft ffffffft ffffffft ffffffft.
